2018: Our Year in Review

Looking back, we can officially say 2018 was a year of innovation. Thanks to our clients, we got to spend each day creating solutions for the unconventional and the extraordinary. As we look forward to what the new year brings — let’s take a look back at our accomplishments in 2018.

Expanded Manufacturing Capabilities
We pride ourselves as being innovators and solution-providers for the unpredictable, unconventional, and sometimes, even the impossible. However, the challenges we face couldn’t be made possible without the increasing, wide-range of technology at our fingertips. To maximize our capabilities, we expanded our facility allowing us to challenge the status quo and be the industry leaders of custom fabrication.

We now have a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility equipped with CNC plasma cutting, milling, lathing, and various other metal forming abilities. The combination of our equipment, highly-trained fabricators, and American Welding Society certified weld team, guarantees our products are made to the highest standard.

Variety of Purpose-built Solutions
Containerized Resources completed an array of projects this year. This past summer, we completed our multipurpose retail and special event prototype — the Breeze Box. This modified 20’ container build is equipped with a fold-down side which doubles its footprint. It also has a rooftop seating/viewing area with an IBC compliant stairway for easy and safe access.

Toward the end of 2018, we started production on our brand-new ADA compliant toilet and shower units. These are equipped with a fold-down ADA compliant ramp that can easily be stowed for shipping. We also completed a 12-container build consisting of mobile toilets, mobile showers, mobile sinks, mobile laundries, and mobile kitchens as well as our FlexCube unit. This is a 20’ multipurpose containerized unit that could be used as housing, vending, or office space.

Suds & Stripes — Mobile Dog Wash Prototype
This past year, we were presented with the opportunity to build a mobile dog wash out of a 10’ Bicon Unit. After several themes and design concepts, Suds & Stripes was realized. This innovative, self-serve dog wash provides a stress-free, mess-free space to tend to our furry friends. Since this mobile unit was going to be placed within a base camp, the military theme was embraced and served as the main source for branding inspiration. We are happy this project received a “Paw of Approval” from all stakeholders involved. Learn more about this build.

Digital Journey
In 2018, we started on a journey which took us outside of the workshop and into the digital realm. Since no one understands the need for customization in today’s world more than we do, we decided to take action. While we can’t say too much right now, we promise we will have more news leading up to Spring 2019.
